Am I signing up for a quote or coverage?
When adopters add pet insurance at checkout, they are opting in to purchase a policy. Pet parents can speak with veterinary experts on their pet's well-being through Chewy's Connect With a Vet service.
What's covered with a Lemonade pet insurance policy?
Lemonade policies cover accidents and illnesses your pet may face over their long, happy life. This includes stitches, broken bones, tooth extractions, emergency surgery, cancer treatment, and more.
How do claims work?
Submitting claims is hassle-free and smartphone-friendly! Simply head to the Lemonade app, tell Lemonade what happened to your furry friend, record and submit a short video explaining what happened, then upload the photo(s).
What isn't covered by my pet insurance?
Like other policies, pre-existing conditions are not covered.
How do I cancel my policy?
If you have any questions or concerns about your policy before canceling, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Lemonade by emailing help@lemonade.com or by phone at 1-844-733-8666.
If you do decide to go ahead and cancel, here's how: From your pet policy screen on the Lemonade app, select the policy you wish to cancel. Tap the three dots in the top right corner. Tap “Cancel Policy”, and Maya will take you through the cancellation process from there.
