Your Adopterluv account holds your pet's vaccination records, adoption paperwork and microchip details in one place, and it is always free to keep.

What is Adopterluv?

• Adopterluv was built specifically for you, the adopter, and is available free of charge to anyone who adopts an animal from an organization that uses Shelterluv, an animal management software. Your Adopterluv account is your hub for everything related to your new pet (medical, important documents, pictures, etc.).

  Your Adopterluv account will automatically pre-fill with your new pet's vaccine information, pulled directly from their Shelterluv record and it will include any documents that were emailed to you during checkout by the organization you adopted from. Adopterluv will remind you about upcoming vaccines, encourage you to stay up-to-date with vet visits, and allow you to track new vaccines.

How do I get my Adopterluv account set up?

• Shortly after your adoption is processed by the organization you are adopting from, you will receive a separate email from Adopterluv inviting you to activate your account to view your new pet's vaccination records and documents emailed to you during checkout. Why should I have an Adopterluv account?

• There are numerous reasons your Adopterluv account will be beneficial to you. These reasons include:

  • Get a clear picture of your animal's medical history (i.e. proof of rabies vaccination).

  • Always know what needs to be done and when. Adopterluv's reminders will help prevent you from missing those important dates for vaccines and visits that are vital for your pet's health and happiness.

  • Everything you need in one convenient place. Whether your new vet is requesting medical documents or your landlord needs proof of a rabies vaccination, you can always find what you are looking for in your account. See viewing and uploading your pet's documents.

  • You can quickly and easily share your pet's records with anyone you need.

What if I am missing documents or the information I have is incorrect?

• All the documents that exist in your Adopterluv account are determined by the organization you adopted from. If you feel that you might be missing certain documents or there is important information about your pet that appears incorrect, you should reach out to that organization for assistance.

How do I unsubscribe from Adopterluv emails?

• If you no longer wish to receive emails associated with your Adopterluv account or no longer have a need for the account, you can unsubscribe from future emails by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the most recent Adopterluv email you received.

I got a vaccine reminder email, how can I book an appointment?

• Adopterluv is a software company that is partnered with the organization you adopted from to provide you a digital copy of your pet's vaccination history at the time of adoption as well as vaccine reminders going forward to keep your pet healthy, and up to date on all vaccines. 

  We are not able to provide medical or appointment-related information. To learn where you can get your pet a vaccine, we recommend contacting the animal shelter or rescue you adopted from or contacting a veterinarian in your area.
